Place Your Bets. Can Rossi Win Another World Title?

  1. From what I've just read yes they'll be on the same bikes.

  2. read somewhere that crutchlow is full factory and millers one is open class.. if so it stands to reason crutclow should do miller....

  3. Gay alert!!! and beat him on the track too you mean? :)

  4. no just do em!!! crutchlows gagging to spend some time on some ones arse other than his own....

  5. doh.. there goes another perfectly good thread

  6. I'm with the general consensus that MM is too strong/young/crazy. Yes, he's had a great 2014, but I think JL will be his biggest concern for 2015. The Honda is on a different level

  7. No a chance in hell........got more chance of taking a dump in the queens handbag, than the No1 plate

  8. I dont think you can write him off 100%. But I think Jorge will be stronger and Marc will only have himself to beat. But who'd have given Vale 2 wins this season and finishing 2nd in the championship? Not I and I am a 46 fanboy.

Jack Miller will make himself even more unpopular. He is a sourpuss and makes Casey look gregarious. Plus I think his riding verges on dangerous and dirty. But he is young and hopefully he will learn because he is no doubt a talent. He should have won Moto3 but his carelessness cost him.

Its Scott I have high hopes for. I think he can beat Marc on equal machinery once he believes in himself. Hes the most exciting british rider Ive seen emerge. I really like his riding style, he is using his height and weight really cleverly. Getting his bonce down cracked me up.

I hope Brad does well, but he suffers from Danni syndrome. He is too nice and polite. If Danni got angry on race days he'd be more competitive.

  9. Brad for me...

  10. First off an apology for writing this so late, I did try last night but the site went down, and then it was time for bed.
The way that this reads is that Stoner was just lucky?
Well I can't see him being a two times champion on sheer good fortune, I think that he won because he was the best rider on the best bikes at the time.

  11. When making predictions people tend to forget about injuries etc, all it needs is for MM, to have an incident that takes him out for a couple of races, and the field would be wide open.
That is not saying that Rossi couldn't take him on in a straight fight, because I think that he can / will; he just needs Yamaha to make a bike that's equal to the Honda.

  12. I see in the MCN "riders rider" Brad comes above Redding,, no mention of Crashalot

  13. Rossi ain't after another title. Well, he would love another crown I'm sure, but what he's after is Agostini's wins record. Once he overtakes Ago I reckon he'll knock it on the head.

  14. Without mm I'd stick a ton on Rossi

  15. He's the best of the rest. Can't see past Marquez though.

  16. would love to see redding at the sharp end, i think he's the best of the brits and could be a future contender if all the stars/politics/paychecks align..

  17. Its that's bloody smile isn't it?

  18. Yes, if he has a comparable bike performance wise to MM, what I want to see is Vale fighting with MM, I have noticed that MM is more respectful on track of Vale than any other of his other competitors. His over takes are far cleaner against vale than danni or jorge. Does that equate to a v slight chink don't know, but I reckon he is still ever so slightly in awe of him. I also believe that MM would be the first to congratulate Vale if he does win another championship.
Miller is a teenage version of Stoner without the 'manners'. It always cracks me up when Aussie sportsmen lose, they have the balls to call us whinging pons.
But what do i know, I'm just an over weight 45 year old with a thing about older italians.

  19. I completely wrote Vale off for the past season (at the beginning of it). I reckoned he had lost his mojo and wouldn't finish the season. Thankfully, I was completely wrong. Shows how far armchair punditry can take you.

So now he seems very motivated and has shown that bar Marquez on the Honda, he is a match for anyone. So the answer to the question is, yes he can win another title if (a) the Yam is as competitive as the Honda next season (or even better) or (b) Marquez has some DNFs, or possibly misses some races. Scenario (b) is a complete possibility. I wouldn't wager big on Vale winning another championship, but he must be worth a flutter if the odds are favourable.
