900ss Ie Transformation.....with Some Help

  1. I had these spaghetti headers made for my 900, to give the under seat 916 look.

  3. They were built ON a 900ss, the bulge in the pipes is to get around the rear shock. They fitted well. Rear subframe needed removing and custom seat unit building. The bike was, I decided, too good to mess with so eventually sold it after a full restoration job, for a decent profit I may add :) So they will fit all engines and as you modify the frame you can make it fit there too. These are sat in my workshop gathering dust at the minute. Just need a project bike now…….
     
  4. you can always store them (fitted) on my 900ss........for a couple of years!!
     
  5. Good idea mate :) Rental is at £200 per year………they are high grade stainless, mandrel bent and ready to rock, just need the cans cutting to size. I paid about £600 for the whole set up. You won't get another set as good, or the same, as they were made specially to get equal length exit pipes for a bit more power. Postage included.
     
  6. decided to change the colour to the same as my first Ducati, orange /yellow
    again with lots of help of Mark!

    Look at a standard 900 ss IE and you'll see the seat comes up to just under the black tank pad. almost same seat height
