I dont do consoles but if I did it would be the PS4. I game on a high end PC. I cant get used to FPS on a console gamepad. Theyre great for racing games etc, i GTA on the playstation, but for shooters its always the PC. Besides the PC is in the spare room and my PS3 is in the front room (used mainly as a blueray player). She gets the hump when I game on the PS3 as she cant watch her shite googlebox crap etc or some proggie about battersea dogs etc.
I'd buy the 4. But theres still lots of games about for a 3. Ive not got a 4 so cant really comment 100%.
My view: always get latest technology if you can. Because you will end up changing it one day when it is out of date. If you start with something that is already superseded, it isn't going to last as long as the latest thing. False economy.

Finished this 1000 piece monochrome Escher puzzle last night, a poisoned chalice that was given to us a decade ago and was rightly never attempted. All pieces are shades of grey and many of the elements are repeated images. Plus the picture is depressing. This will be going directly to the charity shop. I haven't got THAT much time on my hands.
He got at least two bits wrong, I can see daylight between a couple pieces that don't interlock correctly
