Don't start the "red bikes go faster" argument again, the girls with the yellow ones get very upset because they chose the wrong colour.
Personally I think that gloss paint makes it heavier and slower that's why I bought a matte white one
Also, as light reflects off gloss more than matt the force of the light reflecting will push the object in the other direction to the reflection. That must slow it down, its logic. I'm off to B&Q for a tub of matt emulsion, must be cheaper than an uprated ECU.
Definitely cheaper but you will need to paint strip the red first. If you paint over the top you are adding more weight. Dont you get free Termi's with 899 and you don't need to upgrade ecu just upload new map to existing they are reprogramable now
Had to be red and yes, free Termi's are on the way from Italy, nice surprise from the dealer a couple of days after I bought her.
The free Termi's were on offer when bike was released last year November, I was told limited offer only valid till December 31st 2013 hmmmmmm think they fecking lied.
