Spent today at a very cold and wet Snetterton for the Charity Race Experience. Due to the lousy weather I'm afraid the attendance was way down on the last 2 years, and without doubt the takings will have suffered accordingly, but as always we met some great guys giving up their time to give the public a chance to experience what it's like to race round the circuit ( the full 300 this year) and we only had one real wreck, a poor bloke smashed up his daily drive Subaru right in front of the pits, fortunately he was out by himself getting reacquainted with the track after lunch. Here's hoping next year is dryer and warmer!
This morning we went to the Holmfirth Art Market. SWMBO bought a few arty farty bits for people for Xmas. It wasn't cheap. This afternoon we went to Xscape in Castleford. I bought a new board bag, a new thermal jacket, did a couple of hours snowboarding with my mate Daz and then went for something to eat with SWMBO, Daz and his new bird Helen. Today has cost a bloody fortune!
