Still working and I'm STILL commuting on the bike :Nailbiting: I think my days are numbered with the weather and it's back to the car. I will draw the line with ice, not made my mind up about the snow Only got cut up once this morning, which was surprising.
Been to the hospital for x-rays - arthritis in both knees confirmed The good news is the consultant reckons they're fixable with keyhole surgery, just got to confirm it with an MRI scan and he reckons it'll happen quite quickly.
Really sorry to hear that Fig - I can empathise on that one. a little 125 Cagiva tiddler, got the most timewasters ever but it helped to stamp indelibly on my forehead :- STOP BUYING OLD SH*TT*RS
Managed to bite my tongue at work today, metaphorically. Been really busy, productive, carrying the team if I'm honest, ever since coming back from Qatar. So when I took a breather this afternoon in order to read/catch up on my work emails/messages/instructions, my team leader said, "If you aren't busy, there's PCs to repair and used printer parts to take down the Post Office". Now, I'm the one who mends most of the PCs (I fix those from my cases and usually ones from the other two as well), the one that takes most of the printer parts down the Post Office, heads-up the most projects and on top of that, I'm also the one that fixes more user faults than the other two combined, so I had a real choice to make. I said, "Just catching up with my emails" ... without tearing someone a new arsehole. Team leader didn't push the issue. Everybody happy and no injuries. /rant TL;DR - I decided I want a beer or two this evening. I deserve them.
Just watched Chariots of fire... Just like to say its a fantastic movie that has really inspired me to do something great... But i cant, it was shite and has inspired me to drink.....
Martin Scorsese's film "The Wolf of Wall Street" broke a record by using the word "Fuck" or "Fucking" 506 times. That actually beats a record set by me today, trying to put an Ikea chair together.
that's two people after a drink now, Fig? - think I will hoover up some Brandy later - not my drink of choice but it's all that's left - have no idea what I could add to it
Downloaded a few pics of Megan Fox, read her bio, played a few games a few times, eat an expensive lunch, made a few calls and followed up with emails, browsed the internet - LinkedIn mainly. Got paid for doing aforementioned. Now to relax for the evening.
