I love the techie stuff and reading about people's projects too There are also plenty of other threads on here that are meaningless but they go unmarked
Speaking for myself, I need to be more disciplined about where I do my banter. There needs to be a live and let live thing going on, let people enjoy what they like about the forums without spoiling it for each other. If I'm doing my bit to keep things tidy, I then don't have to give a shit what people think of my posts

I mainly read recent posts and reply to banter, some get annoyed - they don't have to degenerate in to insults - doesn't show them in a good light...
The thread was indeed BOTY but was in the Ducati discussion section of the forum. After plenty of non Ducati posts on the thread, Matt moved it into the Lounge section, where it went even more south.
I must admit I didn't check that, I saw the title in my feed saw the banter and joined in I apologise for my part in it going south
