Oh I feel for you, I saw some of it on the TV at work, I'm worried what kind of nation we have become when hunting a bargain breeds a mob mentality. I realise when money is tight you have to shop wisely but fighting and knocking people over! Really!
I've been quite productive. I've finalised and signed off the company website. It will go live on Monday. I've commissioned a html Xmas card which I'm hoping goes out next week. And I've pulled a muscle in my groin that's bloody killing me when I try to walk.
Yesterday I spent all day sitting some exams to maintain my accreditation. Despite hating with a passion what it is I was sitting exams for. 3 of them. Yawn. Today I shall be wheeling the 1198 out and going for a blast.
This morning I have juggled plates and a cup of espresso in the kitchen. I didn't mean to I then had to clean the floor
Just been to the Post Office to pay me expenses cheque in and called in the Co-Op, bought a tiger bread roll to have with extra mature cheddar and a Rump Steak with some button mushrooms for tea :Hungry:
Fitted the new tank to my little Dax and started it after 30 years. That is it last ran 30 years ago. I will soon be back on project 916sp
Replied to all the Gumtree questions as it pisses me off when others don't do the same, then walked the dog and watched him run full bore into a pheasant, do nothing and then afterwards look confused, priceless.
I went to Leeds for a mooch, and then came home and bought a £75 pair of walking boots that have never been worn for £20. I've now just bought a load of gift bags offav eBay to save me wrapping stuff at Xmas
Tree up. Decorations up. This year, I plan on getting well ahead with Xmas. I don't want it spoiled by stressing out. I shall be planning the rest of it like a military operation. One minute you think everything's under control, the next and you've already missed the last post date. Xmas is great, so long as you do all the things you have to well in advance. Otherwise it's just another hassle you don't need.
