As for getting bikes in and out,Im sure with a little ingenuity and a recycled van/lorry taillift, you could do something?
Sounds like the wiring I found in my loft and other areas of the house, how we never had an electrical fire I don't know!!!
Rembering this thread ive refitted my garage....have a friend who works for a house builder and they had virtually a whole kitchen (including worktop) brand new so I emptied the garage into the back garden and started again, ran some network cables down there last week along with some coax. Ill take some pics later....by the way your basement was pretty good at the start...check out silence of the lambs... And all of that was after the builders had been in and excavated about 30 ton's out of the basement....
Smelt down there for a bit and we couldn't work out why....turned out the cat was shitting behind santa for about 6 months....
snooker table sorted and re-furbuished by Thurnstons of Liverpool, hopefully get the bikes in next few weeks
That looks fantastic and kudos on the getting near completion, many of us dream of a man cave such as the one you created
You need air conditioning to keep it warm, dry and cool... I'll ask around.. I'm sure there must be someone on here that could help?
Got a cavity running all round, also central heating and a dehumidifier running. Humidity is between 55 and 60 so is about right. Deffo no damp. Haven't done all this work to spoil it. do I really need air conditioning????
I am so jealous of all of these that I'm going down the garden to eat worms. Not that I have a garden, or a man cave. But I do have a wife and three kids, which are apparently some sort of consolation, or money drain. You pays your money, you takes your chock ice.
No. But then you do own a Ducati...so you have loads more than you actually need? You don't need ac...you probability can't really afford it..therefore...you must buy it¡¡¡ .
My man cave garage build starts next week. Workshop cabinets, lights, radiators, electrical upgrades, automobila and beer fridge all bought. My plaster board skills are about to be tested In the mean time, I've just built this in my 'Man Office'
The visor shop (Crossan Motorcycles). They didn't have any connectors left so I ordered those from a shop fitting company (Eden or Aden. I can get the name if you need it) The cost was about £140 for the glass and £70 for the connectors.
