A true petrol head is Jay , spoke with him ( only briefly as at the time he did not realise who i was ) at GFS couple of years back when he was there with his Jessie James monster ,,, nice guy , knows his cars
I'm not a fan of the bikes looks at all...But I do like stuff like this , pushes the boundaries, quantum leaps and so forth. ompus:
I like it, trellis frame, I like the green colour too. The rest of the styling is (to me) just like all the other motorcycles, maybe I'm going senile but I don't see a huge difference in the fairing, nosecone, seat etc: to the Panni, its all angles which I'm not so keen on. That just seems to be what's in fashion at the moment. Gimmie curves instead, still wouldn't chuck it oot the shed though
I think that it's cooler than a Penguins pecker. The only thing that's wrong is the price; I hear that it's going to be around £40K, and at that price I'll never get to experience it.
I love it! but at 27? odd kg heavier than the new r1 and the same hp with a heftier price tag will it sell in numbers? (my info came from mcn so dont crucify me if im wrong)
Hyper-performance bikes are a bit like 12-inch c****s - very impressive but not much use in the real world ... and, of course, like the aforementioned appendages, no one suffers too much embarrassment if they own one!
