  4. From a marketing point of view, changing your logo (radically changing it) is not normally a great idea. Ducati have changed theirs far more often than is generally considered advisable. When did Rolls Royce last change theirs?

  8. Brand equity doesn't get any better than that, customers getting the company's logo tattooed permanently onto their bodies at their own expense! Brand manager's paradise.

  11. 1997 resonates with me as most of the Ducatis I have owned are of that era ... but I agree with most others on here that the 1977 logo is fantastic. It doesn't seem to have dated at all - unlike all the others.
