999 Deep Sump Camshaft Wanted

  1. Anyone got a horizontal exhaust camshaft for deep sump 999 engine they're willing to sell ?

  3. Yep they are, different profile.
    Non deep sump 999 part number - 148.2.096.1B
    999S and 999 '05 onwards, deep sump - 148.2.080.1B

    The stamping on the one I'm looking to replace is OS-1C

  4. I had one repaired at Newman cams. If you still have yours, send it to them if damaged.

  5. What sort of repair did they do. Mines got a slight flat on one of the cam lobes caused by the plating on the rocker degrading.

  6. Had the same thing. They repaired the rocker and cam.

  7. 749/999 still having these problems.Thought it got fixed with the 998 series?.

  9. Iirc it was £120 for the pair but they had them for a few weeks. However i was in no rush.
