Hi all, Long time Ducati owner in the past but six years ago I decided to go the off road route and traded my 999 for YZ450. Bought a cheap 97' VFR750 last year to do a bit of touring with the missus to see if she'd be into that sort of thing. End result, she loved it so much that she passed her test and now owns a Monster 696! Will be getting my bike next spring and have narrowed it down to three. Hoping to pester a few owners on here to help me make the right choice. Mark
First is the Hyper evo sp. Still like the dirt riding style and after riding the missus' 696 i'm more than impressed. Ducati have come a long way in the development of their air cooled engines. My first big bike was a 600ss which could barely pull the skin of a rice pudding. Second is the MTS 1200. After touring earlier this year I've got the bug again for mile crunching. My £650 VFR750 did a fantastic job but we took a skyhook out last month and that was a hoot to ride. Very fast and comfortable....but butt ugly. Lastly is the baby Panigale. Keep reading nothing but good things about it. Most of my mates have rice rockets and i havn't ridden a sports bike for a few years. My only concern is its about the size of a Lego brick and I'm 6'2. All completely different bikes so it's difficult to choose. I've had to make worse choices in my life though
