The question here is why?. It's not my thing but it doesn't look too bad, but I'd be wondering why the mix and match bodywork. Usually means one thing - something unfortunate has happened at some point in its past.
Didnt see Evo sticker either so thought it might be the old standard 848 in pearl white, but saying that they never had red rims as standard, am only on mobile so cant get a good picture
Yes. And the frame mounted steering damper mount. Weren't he engine casings on the evo black? Not too sure now...
As you can see the standard 848 had a grey frame, just looked at that bike on ebay again and where the light glints of the tank I would say it was a gloss/pearl white, the Evo never came in gloss white.
I was saying that the way the light glinted on the tank IT LOOKED gloss/pearl. And evo was not pearl matte, it was just a flat matte white no pearl look to it.
the dogĀ“s danglies! that bike looks mint! makes me want to jump in van and drive down for the seat unit now! ;-)
Mine was see pic above, it had a sheen to it and a slight fleck, not pearl as much as some others but not lat white either
Hasn't got the Evo's black swing arm and black footrests. No monoblocks either. But has the steering damper mount? So I'd say frame must be a evo or a 1098/1198. But the rest of bike looks like a normal 848. Bet there's a story with that bike.
