  1. Fitted the Oberon brake fluid reservoir cap to the SS and made space in the garage for next years purchase...

  2. We are now officially Christmas Marketed out. Back at hotel drinking coffee waiting to go to dinner. Home tomorrow.

  3. My wife went jogging today and phoned me saying, she thought she was having a heart attack as she had a horrible pain under her left breast.

    Turned out, she had a sprained knee

  5. Has the grass stopped growing? Or are you a secret aficionado ?

  6. The grass hasn't entirely stopped growing, but it never dries out enough to get a mower on it. There won't be any mowing now until the spring. It's only about 2°c outside - not really mowing weather.

    I like looking at snooker on the TV. The commentators are brilliant, all being previous world champions (with the exception of John Virgo who is just very amusing - despite himself, I suspect). It's a game of consummate skill which you just have to admire. I find it rather relaxing.
    I should be making gingerbread men, but I think I might put that off until tomorrow.
    I also think I'm going to make a Panettone - doesn't look too difficult and should be a bit of a laugh. Surely El T makes his own panettone?

  7. busted my ass all day, never stopped.

  8. Played golf yesterday, won more money. 2's only, so will get about a fiver. This time next year I will have enough for a new jumper.

    Hangover today and the onset of deadly man flu. I hope I survive.

  9. Started having a look at the SV650, and it all looks quite promising. The tank's bone dry, obviously been drained, so I'm hoping the previous owner drained the carbs too before laying the bike up. The fork legs are smothered in vaseline, coolant's crystal clear, and there's not much at all in the way of corrosion. There's no battery on the bike, so as soon as I get one I'll lob some fuel in and see if it'll fire up. Then it's just a case of breaking out the marigolds...

  11. Me and the wife both signed up for life insurance policies today.

    Now, it's just a waiting game

  12. He was in ecstasy, with a huge smile on his face as his wife moved forwards then backwards, forward then backward, again and again. Back and forth, back and forth, in and out, a little to the right, a little to the left, she could feel the sweat on her forehead, between her breasts, and trickling down the small of her back, she was getting near to the end. Her heart was pounding, her face was flushed, she moaned, softly at first, then began to groan louder.

    Finally, totally exhausted, she let out a piercing scream and shouted;

    "OK, OK, you smug bastard, I can't parallel park, you do it."
