  4. I saw The Boomtown Rats towards the end of their career, Bob was fantastic performer who played the crowd brilliantly, he had them (us) eating out of his hand.

  5. I've always thought of him as a self regarding and utter twat. Having spent many years in Africa, which is corrupt to the core, I was deeply sceptical of Band Aid round 1. Fuck knows how many they've bored us with now.
    The African masses get fuck all from aid. Absolutely fuck all.... Ain't such a thing as a free meal here. Aid is poor people in rich countries giving to rich people in poor countries.... Ah well, nearly pub time here.

I don't disagree with him,,, but the same thing can be said for many , many many many many charity " events ",,eg. like Charlie Boardman " I am going to ride my motorbike to SA for charity ",, well fk me,, " I am going to sail my yacht around the world for charity " !!!,, etc etc... I never hear of anybody saying that " I am going to stand up to my neck in cow shit for 24 hours for charity " !!!!!!!
