How old are you, and how long have you been riding?

    So I claim the prize for being the oldest to pass their test.

    Bet I win the prize for the oldest to pass his car test at the first attempt.
     
  3. I'd never be able to claim that one, my first lesson was at 8am on the morning of my 17th Birthday, and within 6 months I had passed both car and bike tests first bite of the cherry each. I had nothing more than learning to ride and drive on my mind right up to my 17th birthday - for me my life started on May 12th 1995

  5. 50 and 34, it just seems like forever, can i stop yet?
     
  6. Umm, 36 & 2......I very regretfully started late :/
     
  7. 44 & 38, started offroad ofcourse, started road riding 15 y.o. Finally got my licence at 32 y.o. (yeah,yeah I know :rolleyes:)
     
  8. 49 years old, riding for 35 years and the best part of half a million miles...and roughly 45 points on my license...
     
  9. 48 years old been riding 32.
    Did a thread on the old forum before it died "Is the Multistrada an old mans bike" That worked out as an average of 48.
    There is hope; my lad 18 rides a 620 Multistrada, passed his test this year
     
  10. Two score and five. Had a road bikes on and off from sixteen until twenty-ish. Biggest bike I had was a 350 Elsie.

    Passed my bike test Jan. 2006.

    Rode an off road bike for the last ten years or so.

    To answer Andy`s question, I know he only asks cos` he cares :wink:.
    I`ve not had any extra training or do I see myself doing any in the future. Sorry, I think.
     
  11. I'm 47 and got my first bike (an AP50) at 16 so been riding 31 years (bar a few goes on my older brothers' bikes when I was 14-15 ish)

  13. 49 and 33 and my first bike was also a blue AP50, what a machine!

    Sorry to buck the trend but I have had aditional training.
     
  15. 33 and riding for 2 years (1 week out of those two years on my big bike!) Pillioned before I took my CBT! I have additional training every now and then when I go out on a ride as the other half is a qualified instructor!
     
  16. About 45 years...............Riding, that is.....on road with a period of track within that.....

    So you can guess my age...........




    That's right.....105 (or at least that's what I feel like).
