Thats harsh mate I would offer to share one of my 3 bottles but I am a greedy fecker and don't play nice with others
3! Bloody good job the family came with port or I'd be sober. Not the same as Scottish though. Talisker is one of my favourites too. To quote my teenager, "well jel".
Never tried Talisker, got an 18yr old Glenlivet though which I rather like, oh and just found a bottle of 10yr old Jura, unopened and still in its original box. Never tried that one either. Mind you I have been on the Morgan Spiced drunk out of my Morgan Spiced glass tankard also a Xmas prezzy
Not much of a drinker these days but acquired the taste for a nice malt in my late 20's Have 5 bottles just checked the drinks cabinet lardee dah, 3 Glenlivet 12, 15 & 18yrold Bottle of Singleton and Jura, not tried the Singleton or the Jura before.
i was at lunch today with a fella called donnie, he is a what do you call it from the nevis distillery, interesting conversation, old gezzer started at the bottom worked his way up to the top. he doesn't approve of putting water in it, strange.
I don't like water in my Scottish either, tends to water it down. We supply the distillery at Glen Ord with gas keep meaning to have a site visit just to make sure everything is ok
It was from an online second hand book shop. It is not currently in print or online as a pdf. Just a bit of searching and good luck I think. Yorkie
