Just cooked and organise and eaten a second full Turkey Xmas meal In two days- the joys of travelling at Xmas and sharing ones time about... You can never eat enough Brussels. And for a Brucie bonus, I get to do the washing up,again! Roll on the stilton and port....
oooh yess, haven't touched that combo yet this christmas.....have it for puds tomorrow. were having sushi tonight.
Dropped the CBR engine at Stotfold Engineering, other than that and a core strength class, not a lot.
A good day, just seem to have a hacking cough left from the flu-cold. Blitzed the housework then down to Bath to watch Bath v Exeter using the tickets I won. Very cold but really enjoyed it and Bath won Now home and had firsts slice of Christmas cake with a coffee...life is good.
Sat all day in my onesie watching top gear specials Plenty of coffee and Christmas cake Better than yesterday why do people feel the need to shop Boxing Day I have no idea
Indeed, I am contemplating the Warre 77........not sure the cheese is quite good enough though. Cropwell so it should be ok but...the nose is telling me it's not brilliant.
Just back from me mam's, and I'll not need to eat for a week. I've had 4 xmas dinners this year, two of which in very posh restaurants, and my mum's knocks all the others into a cocked hat. Then of course there's the leftovers on Boxing day which is even better. Needless to say I can barely move now, I'm so full. Might just be able to squeeze a pint in...
Today we took the mother in law back to Derby. It was touch and go as the weather had been a bit bleak last night and we woke to around 4-6" of snow around here. Anyway we decided to go today as it is meant to freeze tonight so traveling tomorrow could be worse, and we've had enough of her already Anyway a 2.5 hour round trip became a 6 hour round trip because the roads were shit and 80% of the great unwashed can't frigging drive properly! Seriously this was a horrible journey. This evening I will relax, watch shitty TV and stuff my face with chocolate
Not at all. It was just the bloody transport infrastructure that was rubbish! This was Holmfirth this morning
Just finishing off a bottle of 10 yr old Taylors, so I've fetched up a 1996 Fonseca ready to open maybe tomorrow.
Wow, must be at least, ooh, a centimetre of snow there. No wonder the transport infrastructure collapsed.
