As the title suggest , i have been lurking on this site for a while now ,and i thought it about time to say HELLO from snowy leicestershire . I currently have come back to biking after a 9 year absence , although i dont currently own a ducati i will hopefully, after picking up some NCB after losing all my years i had accumulated . I currently ride a GSXR 1000 K2 to get some experience under my belt but i'm interested in the 899 and the 1199 panigale ,and will hopefully pick one up next year . I was also a keen cyclist until i got knocked off in a RTA last february , although the drivers insurance company has admitted liability , i'm still struggling after 2 operations , and cannot closeout the claim until im sorted but hopefully it wont be to much longer , ihave lots of biking to catch up with Hello peeps !
Welcome to the looney bin, sorry to hear about RTA, you should pick up enough cash in compensation you could buy a 1299s and insure it and still have loads of spare change. Your current ride to get you used to being back on a bike, talk about start of small
Hello and welcome to the mad house n1ms Hope you continue to recover Hope you don't mind the waffle and shite that goes on here The locals are on day release I ferry them around
I have had yamaha R6, R1 ,gixxer1000 and 750, aswell as a FZ1 + supermotos , but that was a while back now . I was looking at a big adventure bikes but have decided to stick with the sports bike whilst i can still bend
I had a long break from bikes and when I went back to it I started on a Ninja 400 couldn't believe how quick it was compared to the old GPZ550 and now I am on slightly bigger bikes they are mental. Hope you get sorted soon. The looney's on here are from all around the country I am down in West Sussex but the nuttier ones are from Scotland.
would love the 1299 but think a little to expensive , but i have to wait till im sorted so price for a used one might have dropped by then
I saw it at the bike show at the NEC, it has up and down gear shift buttons on the left hand bar, its all electronic like having paddle shift in ya motor.
Thanks to everybody for the warm welcome loving the forum , and all the excellent information im gathering up
