It's all good mate but sometimes it can get a little haywire and personal, I put it down to us who are mainly fair weather riders being cooped up during the winter months getting frustrated at not being able to ride.

Hey up lads/ladies Happy new year!! So I Joined the ducati family around 3wks ago when my missus gave me the green light to get my new bike as an early Xmas present! I paid for the bugger though 2011 1099 streetfighter!! So I'll be picking all your brains seen as I'm a twin virgin! Hope that came out right...... Must admit the 1st ride scared the shit out of me! I've been riding a yamaha fz6 for two years as my first bike so the duc is so different, getting used to it though. Sounds amazing! Look forward to chatting to you all. Jay
Nice bike mate, oh its 1098 not 99, looks to have a few after market extra's too, anodized fluid containers, open clutch cover and Termi's very nice. Not surprised it's scared you shitless though, it's a hooligan bike.
Cheers mate! Yeah I thought it was 1098 aswell but the v5 form says otherwise and my insurance? Anyways.....still pulls my arms off lol Yeah it's got a few extras on it, fair bit of carbon and some nice rizoma parts. Love the sound of the termi's..... It's gonna get take a bit of getting used to! Not the best weather to be buying a new bike either but didn't wanna lose it......same price as a few standard ones I see.
