  3. Definitely what simmy says. This time of year they usually have a few Desmos in for some work.

I went in one day last winter and they had 10 Desmos in the workshop together.

  6. Good Man, enjoy it when you get it!

  7. JHP contacted me today to say the clocks have been changed, the mileage is actually 3700 rather than 1900 as advertised. He offered a refund , still want the bike though, can't see how ducati can build the most advanced electrical system but can't reprogram the dash when they fit a new one.

  8. Discount? £1000?

  9. Got £200 quid knocked off , I'm happy with that , can't find any other 1199 with 3700 miles on and a 1 year warranty for £11800 so it's still a deal

  10. :upyeah:

  11. I don't think you will have any issues buying from JHP. I bet quite a few dealers might have kept the mileage difference quiet.

  13. £200 seems a tad light, presume you'll trade it in to them later down the line as it may spook a private buyer come resale time.

  14. Would be on the service records, warramty would depend on it

  15. I did consider getting a full refund and moving on, problem is, having done some research it appears the 2012 - 2013 1199 all suffered dash problems, so at some stage in the future there will be loads of 1199 out there with dashes that don't match service history.

So if I buy another 2012 1199 at about £12k with 3k on the clock, chances are the dash is going to pack up sometime anyway, costing me a fortune.

I might be wrong, it has put a sour taste in my mouth, I have until Monday to change my mind.

  16. Would you have purchased the bike at £11800 with 3700 miles?

  17. go with your gut not your heart , loads of 1199 with changed dashes even my changed one started to mist, seems like there in a dodgy batch,

  18. The very very low mileage one posted above is now down to £12K  you would get that for £11,500

  19. Doubt it'd come down to 11500 but at 12k it's better value surely?

  20. Quite a fundamental mistake for the dealership to make in the first instance. Piss poor.
