  2. Sorry mate that is the one I was looking at on the conquest carbon site. I dont have the 899 no more, traded in for an 1199 black ones are faster you know ;)

  3. Shame the 899 case is a cast ONE piece vs two off the 1199. So you can't mount the sweet looking clear Ducabike clutch cover on them and also you can't replace the cover in the event of a crash without having to replace the complete case cover.:Arghh:

  5. Haha i know you have the black 1199 (best colour) so you can get thst cover its only £210 but for me if i buy a magnesium cover new its £500 ish so £700 odd sod thst haha

  7. I would go for the black with gold spring holder! R+g have just released a cover for mine which is quite nice so may get that for now ! But i REALLY want that clear cover

  9. Get some gold decals made up the exact same size as originals and then stick them over the top.
    You could slightly offset them so that the originals form a drop-shadow underneath.
    If you don't like them you can just peel them off again!

  12. Nah if I went for the clear it would have to be red spring holder, Ideally I want the whole side casing powder coated in black, but having spent a few quid on her already it may have to wait till after the summer riding.

  15. I know what you mean, it's all about striking a fine balance of bling just to set the bike off and catch peoples eye.
    We are not posers honest guv.
    I will have think on mine got more immediate things to consider.
    Have ordered the dark tint Puig screen for mine and I want a comfy seat, getting slip ons free but paying to have full system fitted and I want a comfy seat.

  16. I dont find the standard seat that bad but i have only rode the demo for about 45mins supposed to be doing Germany this year or next so might want to think about a change ! Puig screen is lovely !full system wow thatll be a beast

  17. Dealership offered me a deal on the down pipes still not 100% sure but got to run her in first then will decide but I am seriously tempted.
    Well I did a straight run from mine to Norfolk 140 miles and wasn't sore so may not bother with seat yet and put money towards rear sets instead :)

  19. That was last year mate in the summer, new a bird up there, in Swaffham was up 3 or 4 times, have promised to bring the new bike up for her to have a nosey at it.
