This is my Ex. I was going to trade my 998 in to get one at Dobles but couldn't bring myself to do it. I still have the 998 and another RC30 (Fettled by Brian Capper and Steve) came and went. The RC isn't the be all and end all of bikes tbh.
Nearly bought one of these but the buyer of my GPz750 fell through and couldn't complete. Still got a pic somewhere, in metallic purple
I had a T160, wish I still did, haven't got any decent picks, but here is summit. I know the horns are mank but I had no taste as I was but a child. Besides a couple of times they got me outta what looked like impending doom. Mate also had a KH 250 I lusted after that bike and had quite a few goes on it twas a nice nice thing.
I had a T150V,most unreliable bike I ever owned, after 2 weeks of pushing the bastad home every night I took it back to the dealer and threatened the guy with a truck through his shop front if he didn't take the horrid thing back... Changed it for a Suzuki T500,fantastic bike...turbine smooth, good on fuel,(for a two stroke),reasonable handling, but let down by a puny TLS front brake
Not a bad looking mill either, the T500, especially when the rest of the bike is sympathetically beautified:
Steve R did not post a picture of his delight but I will, and for good measure and silver/blue one, both of these were restorations by Made in Italy Motorcycles, the 900ss was my first proper lust for a bike. TZ750 maybe but only after a 180 crank Jota. All of them to be treasured but still used occasionally
