  1. It's hardly Islam init? It's a Forum where people share their views, opinions and all that :)

  2. Ah, fuck em, just like their ugly bikes, ugly outside, ugly inside

It was a joke, even though I think they look a bit poo too...

  3. needs?

  4. Yellow..?

  5. Biposto..?

  6. Is it even a Ducati? :p

  7. I see the explanation now!

You've all been sniffing brake fluid!!!!!!;):Woot:

  8. I didn't mean all Ducati's I meant Ducati's that are 20 years old and newer eg from 1993 ish onwards. If you could buy a SC for £1500 a few years ago and now worth £7500 I couldn't think of anything that had gone up by that percentage in the last 20 years. Think that's what I meant

  9. I have a 1000SS DS and find the engine to be awful in towns, trying to keep to 30mph requires a fair bit of input, taking a mini roundabout is really bad as you need to go in, pull the clutch in with enough momentum to go around and then slip the clutch out slowly to carry on...same goes for slow speed junctions etc...It's just so lumpy.
However once you get out on some clear road and get up to 45mph+ is an absolute gem of an engine..it's most happy above 80mph.
I love this bike and for £2.5k it's an absolute bargain...same as a SC in terms of brakes, engine, suspension..even the clocks are very similar if not the same. BTW I would so like to own a SC, love the looks but I can see why some folks don't like it..too expensive for a toy though and I think their price has nearly topped out.

  10. Have you dropped a tooth off the front cog? May help a lot with that around town stuff. Worked wonders on my old multi

  11. ^^ Same here, drooped one tooth off the front and went up 4 at the rear (I think), handles town well and accelerates like a good'un at the expense of some top end which I wasn't using much anyway.

  12. PO had done it, 15t to 14t front 37t rear standard. However that was back in 2007 (10k miles ago) so it might have had a new set of sprockets since then...i'll check.
I have a Honda Firestorm as well which is so much easier to ride in town but not the same bike as the Ducati in terms of "character".

  13. Popping into CJS for remap may be the next step to smooth out the drivability... so people say!

  14. My sc is one of the smoothest twins iv ridden, most likely thanks to the previous owners set up.
