  1. Chopped up the Christmas tree for recycling, took the bike out for a spin then chased a mouse out from my garage!

  2. My Xmas tree has been recycled every year for the past couple of decades. It's made in Taiwan, or somewhere. Frankly, once it's been decked in all sorts of kitsch shit, you can barely tell it's not a real one.

  7. I rode across Salisbury Plain (using the roads) to attend a meeting, it certainly blew a few cobwebs away as it was very windy.

  9. I had a lovely Christmas puzzle off my daughter
    Between us we have done it in 2 days

  10. Glossed door frames, window sill and skirting in kitchen and dining room.

    Chopped down 10' x 10' of hedge and took to tip. Roots still need to come out.

    Unblocked the outside drain.

    Been a busy day.

  11. ive been moving cars and vans around today.

    got my landrover from the farm, not seen it for a month, its clean so i parked it to keep it clean. i took my van to my unit to clean it out for sale.

  13. I was lying on the sofa tonight and I said to the missus, "I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens to me, just pull the plug."


    She got got up, unplugged the telly and emptied my bottle of beer down the sink in the kitchen.
