    I tried a 2k 1/2 litre rattle can with fan type nozzle and what a superb finish :smile:

    Got all the wiring done now i have the battery box, Just started making a ally bracket for the reg/rec unit.
    Made the brackets for the rad and just need to fit them.

    Belts fitted

    Need screen bolts
    st4 belt covers
    tyres
    reg plate

    Fairing lowers i will paint this weekend

  10. It sprays like a gun But practice on something first as it drys to touch very quickly unlike 1k solvent clear.
    It's rock hard on my seat unit after only 24 hours.

  11. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..... dont do it!! i have just rectified the attempt to do that from the previous owner on my front mudguard.
    It will just pin hole & fish eye.. best to just 1500 grit W&D & then machine polish as it is... if you dont have a machine polisher (likely!)
    then try with some G3 cutting compound..water & lots of elbow grease, dont worry about the compound sitting in the holes, you can get it out with an old toothbrush afterwards

    Electrics done after a few mods etc, Turns over etc. Petrol in tank tomorrow and ............ fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!
    But the rad i got on fleabay leaks :mad:
    Found another :smile:, ST2 type :smile: so more delays :mad:
    Also fitted 888 throttle bodies today!

    is the fuel pump rotating the correct way l seem to recall issues with st4 wiring making the 888 fuel pump go backwards
    will l be able to hear it roar from here

    Rad looks like a water feature, Good for watering the pot plants lol
    Got me eye on a cheap ST2 rad on the bay!
    Rain has stopped play here!

    just going out for a blat on mine
    the clocks look like the star ship enterprise on there mate grandad will moan and grumble you know but he wont know cos hes buggered his lappy again:biggrin:
    got the battery box all sorted then

    Painting the lowers this weekend.
    No point doing anything else till i get the rad to run it mate

    Grandad will comment about clocks but 888/900ss 3 face clocks are hard to find.
    When i find a set i will fit them.
    Time for a pie and titanium bolt i reckon!!!!!!!! lol :biggrin:
     
  17. went out for me blat in me poncy leathers--it pissed down
    cos l cleaned it yesterday----well one side l turned it round in the dining room cos the offside always gets a quick clean so l thought tother side deserved a bit of a clean yucky chain gunk everyhere sorted with degreaser and a leccy toothbrush----ha:eek:
