  1. Hi members

Apologies, the photo is a bit grainy but can anyone tell me the name of the jacket, when it was sold & how much it was please?

    Thanks

  2. I have the one-piece leathers version of that.
The one-piece just has a label inside saying "Ducati Collection by Dainese".
It was the early Troy Bayliss SBK era - 2001/2002.
They are actually the same design as the limited edition Foggy leathers but without the sponsor badges!

    Same as these:

  3. Thanks Ant.

    Appreciate the reply.

  4. I've just dug my jacket out to see if there's any label info, sorry to say nothing of any use. IIRC from buying it over 10 years ago it was referred to as the Foggy jacket at the time, not sure if that was the official name but as Ant mentions in his reply, it was the same design minus the sponsorship.

  5. Thanks for digging out your jacket. I've done a bit of internet research but haven't been able to find it.
    Cheers

  6. They'll be well over 10 years old now so you're only ever looking at second hand.
I would keep searching on ebay for "dainese ducati" and hope you get lucky!

  7. Still no progress on the jacket ID.

I know it's sad but I even e-mailed Ducati. 2 hours later the phone rang. A nice Italian lady from Ducati called but unfortunately she only had the most recent apparel brochure's so she couldn't help me.

  8. I've got some old apparel brochures going back to 2005 and its not in any of them, as already said it goes back before 05'. I reckon about 2002. Sure I've seen one on ebay fairly recently. Keep looking. Gumtree is quite good for the odd obscure item or try ebay.de / ebay.com / ebay.it etc.

  9. I have one of those in Yellow. Bought it about 2002 from Italian in Lincoln cost around £350.
I will have a look at the labels tonight to see what ID is in there.
At the time I bought mine Grand Prix legends were selling them as well

  10. I like the yellow one very smart :upyeah:

  11. Yeah keep an eye on ebay, I picked up a one piece 3 years ago not mint but only £80 ish :upyeah:

  12. The one piece for £80?! Bargain!

Personally I definitely prefer the red.

  13. I have checked the labels in my jacket. It simply has Dianese and beneath it Ducati in the collar and a washing/ cleaning label in the lower left side with made in Italy on it as opposed to the new stuff made in the Far East.

I've modified mine over the years to suit my tastes. It fits really well and is so comfy never felt the need to get a new one

  14. :) i have the same Jacket had it for best part of 10 years now and believe it or not still fits me, only info i have is inside tag with Dianese ,size cleaning instructions so not sure what range it was from

  16. Nice winter jacket but crap for the summer. One of the reasons I sold mine as they are very thick have no venting and a irritating high collar.

For general info they have been around along time as I purchased the DP one piece suite 15 yrs ago with my first 996 and still wear it now. They sold the following as official ducati dainese kit.

    Ducati Leather Jacket Red
    Ducati Leather jacket yellow
Ducati One piece ducati collection vented or non vented
Ducati One piece ltd edition fogarty replica vented or non vented

They were around for at least three yrs in the DP book.Still the nicest looking design stuff ducati has ever had imho
