Hi all, Just thought that I'd say hi because I've just put a deposit down on a new white 899 that I'll pick up on the 1st March. Coming from a 2013 ZZR1400 so it will certainly be a change but I'm sure that it will be a good change. Cheers guys, Dan
I've been dealing with DG as Shirlaws, although very nice, aren't willing to PX my current bike and as far as I know can't get new Ducatis in.
Shirs had 2 ducs in few months ago,, but sold quickly, DG has a nice showroom and I had a wee chat with a very nice friendly guy on parts counter last week. are you in ABZ,, I am in PH ( but my bike is still tucked up for winter,, few months hibernation yet !! )
Yeah it was actually the red one Shirlaws had in recently that got me thinking. Ended up being just as cheap for a new one from DG. They've been really good for answering questions and getting me a good deal, I'd definitely recommend them. I haven't actually test ridden an 899 but from discussions with people who've ridden the same bikes as me and tried the 899 I've formed the opinion that I should have one. Very excited now, really look forward to it and hopefully some nice weather as well. What do you ride?

Very nice. Had a friend a number of years ago that had a 748SP (I think!) in yellow and I love the way it sounds and looks. Without resorting to Google I presume they're very similar? Would definitely be good to get a few rides organised once the weather starts picking up a bit!

Ah, gotcha!! I was more thinking it was for Aberdeen. But to answer your question - no, I definitely don't have abs... Lol. I know a lot of Ducati owners will hate the white but I just don't like red cars/bikes so white was a no brainer for me!
