  1. A new one sold at Bridge Moto 3 years ago (freshly imported from Japan) it was up for £13,000 and sold within a month.
I have seen low mileage ones like thison Ebay go for £4,000 ish

  2. Wow that's high. I was looking at these and the first Blades before getting the 996. Year 1 blades are twice the price of year 2.

  3. Always seems to be the first model makes the most,
Take the first Suzuki rgv vj21 was always cheaper than the second rgv vj22 but in the last 2 years they are the same if not a bit more.

  4. Not necessarily - 998 make more than 916's that make more than 996's. Later 999's tend to make a little more than early ones, including R's.
The 4XV R1 in White with a red seat make £1K more than the blue ones. When they came out no one liked the red seat and most bought blue, the year later 4XV in Red, Black and White matched the blue in sales. Now the red seat due to rarity seems desirable - funny old world. I have an unregistered 2nd year 4XV - unsure what it would be worth.

  5. The 916 will come good in the end but not until i have one :) Ive been watching the price's for a 748, one of them is on my to have list would like a yellow one there is a stack of them on eBay at the moment.

  6. I turned down a 1994 916 Strada for about £4500 2 years ago with about 16K on the clock - UK one too with excellent history. You don't see 94 ones often at all now.

  7. i've got same one in similar condition and would not let it go even for £6999

  8. Yes but would you buy one for that if you didn't have one :)
What would you think my un registered '99 year 4XV one would be worth?

  9. nope, don't think i would go and buy one now for £7 large . but love mine. to be honest don't ride it much , just take it out every w-end to make sure it is moving and this and that...
your un-registered mk2? i recon maybe £5-£6k? mk1 in red-white is what looks like gone though the roof, everything else carbs is expensive, but not stupid yet, i would hold on to it.
indecently - would you still have 2 years yam warranty if you register it now? and would it actually work at ll after 16 years stationary?

  10. Mine is a 4XV same as yours - Mk2's as you call them came out in 2000 :) yes it works fine - been in a heated showroom all it's life - serviced and run for 5 mins when I bought it 3.5 yrs ago, then stored 'properly' in my house since. Not sure on the warranty but it has been mentioned, not sure anyone would put it on the road. A dealer offered me £8K 3 years ago.

  11. Apparently Honda SP1's are on the turn now and I would expect others to follow. Maybe the Suzi TL1000S?

  12. Sounds a bit iffy to me, not much info and one bloody picture :Banghead: never get that one and you can't start it.
As for the price is right won't meet reserve,

  13. That looks a beast and matching number plate :Nailbiting:

  14. fwiw,, that ( one in the link ) has to be one of the all time horrible looking bikes ..
