900ssie front indicators

Discussion in 'Supersport (1974-2007)' started by popelli, Aug 16, 2012.

  1. These look cheap and nasty as supplied by ducati and need something more asthetically pleasing

Tidied the rear indicators up by cutting off the stalks and bolting indicator body tight up against bike

Now stuck with what to do with the front indicators that look pants stuck out further than they need to and they tend to catch other bikes when moving bike in / out of garage

    Anybody any ideas on replacements?

  2. Hi popelli

What i did was to get some flush one's so they don't stick out at all . Dead easy to fit just if I remember right 20mm hole and plug in the wires. PAD

  6. I thought about mirrors with the indicators in. No idea which would fit or if they would look any good

  7. now I see what you have done

was looking to get someting that would cover utilise standard mounting holes, however there is a paint job coming (converting from 1/2 to full fairing) so I could always fill those

  8. what you could do is fit them over the mounting holes , I think they were don’t quite long enough to cover them so I got some Ducati wings decals to cover the holes, will get a more up to date photo to show you. PAD

  9. just took a couple shoots so you can see the front ones better PAD IMG_1254.JPG

  10. The indicators look really cool! Can I ask where you purchased them from, Mine are on little rubber stalks which need replacing so need to do something over the winter months!
    look forward to your response
    Kind regards
    Phil

  11. got them from sportsbikeshop.co.uk, you need to drill a hole i think it was 22mm to fit them, just make sure that there is enough room behind to get the nut and the bulb in without hitting anything PAD

  12. Thanks for that Acelav, I'll have a butcher's at them! They look really cool on your 900ss ie.
