NCR Ducati 848 superbike road legal race/ track bike rare top spec swap swop px | eBay Nice spec and not seen one of these NCR models before. What do we know ?
Nice bike for sure but for 25k I would expect Ohlins r&t forks or desmo type,Brembo HPK calipers,Carbon wheels,BST carbon swingarmSTM evoluzione slipper clutch,NCR rad and oil cooler etc etc. The chain and sprockets, carrier & rearsets look standard also.Feck me for that money you would think they would throw in a STM conversion NCR rearsets and NCR sprocket carrier. I thought NCR would have done a more complete job on it like a lot of there other bikes.
The bike is nothing like the NCR spec list, have seen better spec bikes than that for sub 10k prices, give me a 1098r and a 999r any day.
Yeah I just read the specs list. For a start the fork bottoms are standard ohlins not NCR special parts.
I cant see a 24k bike there,its a 848 with ohlins,dry clutch,exhaust,miss match of fairings,subjective paint job,maybe the engines top spec ?,cant see it weighing 155kg either,maybe i am missing the point,at least 16k overpriced.
I'm fairly certain this bike has been mentioned on here before and similar observations made. So it appears to be either a con or an eBay seller who hasn't a clue.
Con. You can't be advertising a motorcycle at £25k without at least understanding what you are presenting it to be worth... If the bike turns out to be not what it's presented to be - whether through ignorance or intent - then that's a con, surely?
:Bookworm: Yeah too many goodies missing, doesn't even have an NCR clutch cover or slave cylinder, who knows what's inside it - 155kg :Hilarious:
According to the advert it retails at £50k new that puts it at better than Desmosedici ? I find that very hard to believe.
Maybe they took it in as a P/X in good faith that it is an NCR bike but the previous owner had swapped out all the best bits and sold them separately on EBay? Shame... :Angelic:
