All 1299 versions will have DQS up and down but the buttons on the bars are listed as 'auxuliary adjustment buttons'. I think you will find they are simply to allow the rider to make adjustments to the settings whilst riding. Nothing to do with the DQS. Ducati Superbike 1299 Panigale - Tech Spec
Coincidence that you've deleted (on oct 21st) all the postings that you made earlier in the year ? sounds to me like someone didnt want the insurance co/police looking snooping about and looking for evidence of dangerous drivng or something? No talk of 3 mile long tank slappers and everything repaced with question marks . an anyway hope you wasnt hurt or hurt anyone else either.
When you look past the mangledness I think you're right they are two different bikes. Tyres are different for a start.:Watching:
Yep I retract my previous comment, it is the same bike, some bits have swapped such as the seat, maybe because of the brown stains on it!. Sorry shouldn't make fun, glad you're ok pal, real shame about the bike.
Considering it's been down (on both sides?) the rear of the bike and the tank looks untouched. Did none of it touchdown?
Looks like someone has swapped the clock support as on James pic is smashed to fook but on the ebay pics its only lightly damaged.
I would never ever buy a damaged Panigale, you cant ever guarantee the structural mounting points/stressed members are ok, would you want a failure at 150? not me. You have to be so careful, a muppet tried selling me one that had 'fallen over', I managed to get the reg number, speak to woods ducati. Turns out, it was there ex-demo. The test pilot went down an embankment, and put himself in hospital. The bike landed upside down with the throttle wide open, (why dont they have tilt sensors?!) Seller had replaced all the parts, and had a few good but marked panels spare which he claimed were the originals. Dangerous place, the second hand market...... take care
