  1. Hi all,
Ive been rummaging around on here for a week or so finding out about the bikes, this has resulted in me part-exchanging my 09 BMW K1300s for a 12 plate 1200S Sport with 6k on the clock! 50 mile test ride last weekend and now its bought and delivered! Not new to Ducatis having had a Monster S4 and a S4R in the past, I used to hang around on the UKMOC forum and did a few of their " Weekenders", I did miss the L twin though and its good to be back on one!
So whats on mine? Every bit of carbon possible it seems! Carbon Termi, decat pipe, Ohlins upgrade control unit, billet brake/clutch cylinders, upgraded clutch slave cylinder, Pazo levers, CNC blanking plugs, single seat cowl, PP bellypan, heated grips, integrated tail light and indicator unit, 3 screens to play with and new Pilot Road 3 tyres.....and all the standard parts that came off it! So pretty happy!
Whats on my to do list/....fit and wire in my Zumo 660, put in some Osram Nightbreaker unlimited bulbs and do the main beam/low beam mod that someone on here supplies I believe, John W ?
Oh and find a set of Used Panniers!
And why is the RH Mirror on a LH thread, or was in my case! It didn't occur to me to read how to remove a mirror and it doesn't mention it in the manual, so now I need a new clamp or a helicoil.
Apart from that Im looking forward to a good summer!

  2. Oi oi Dave. Welcome :)

  3. Welcome,

It is so the mirror comes undone when you clip it!
Stops you falling off, assuming you've got a Mans arm.

You'll need Pillion foot rests for the Panniers.

Very similar to my 2010 MTS1200S, but lacking 25,000 miles.
PM if you have any questions you don't want to ask the great unwashed.
