Just watched another old Top Gear, the one JC tests the new Jaguar XF. Once again he mentions great roads in Herts, they look amazing. Does anyone know where they are and road numbers.
I thought unusual landscape for Hertfordshire, he's mentioned it twice, once before testing an Aston Martin.
I suspect The Enormous Buffoon was pulling legs with that one. There are very few decent roads in Hertfordshire, and the few that there are have to be enjoyed early in the morning before the traffic builds up. Actually it's a very odd-shaped county stretching from Hemel Hempstead in the West right round to Harlow on the Essex border. There are some more rural roads over East (A507, Baldock to Buntingford is a winner), but round my way there's precious little fun to be had...
My biking career started in Rickmansworth - pillion on RD250 when the new 'north orbital' opened up (later known as M25 car park) - was plenty of roads in the 70's lol
yip you see this a lot, a mate works for a movie location company, he is all over Scotland making programs and adverts for cars. then sees them on t.v advertised as somewhere else.
Luckily for me I have the pleasure of the A507 Baldock to Buntingford on the way to work AND the A507 Buntingford to Baldock on the way home from work! I did encounter another SuperSport 950 on the way home the other Friday - the folks in Baldock had two for the price of one.
