Couple of Rideouts....

  1. Hi Guys - after a period of time off, Im back to organising ride outs for Ducati Store in Sale in conjunction with DOCGB M Battalion and Cheshire Branch.

There's a rideout this weekend on Saturday 24th - meet at store at 9.00am for a brew and depart 9.30am for a blast around Cheshire back mid afternoon.

On Sunday 25th the new sales manager Martin is planning a quick run up to Devil's Bridge - meet at store at 4.00pm - return around 7.00/8.00pm.

At the end of April I'm planning a NW posse attendance at the Italia Autofest in Bristol - will be a 7.00am start and probably meeting at Junction 16 M6 - to get down to Gordano for 9.00am for the mass ride in.

Everyone is welcome to come along to any one of these events... irrespective of whether you are a member of DOCGB or a customer of Ducati Manchester. It'd be great to see you!

I'll try and post advance notice of any rides planned as widely as possible - on here, on DOCGB, and on FB and Twitter.... so you don't miss any!

    Keep em shiny sides up...

    Gav:upyeah:

  2. Roughly where does the route go on Saturday Gav?

  3. Haven't exactly decided yet but was thinking cat, macc, congleton, Broxton, Sandiway, Lymm and back to store....

  4. Wish i lived up your neck of the woods Gav and Paul.

  5. Your always welcome to come along Steve - it aint that far!

  6. How about me?

  7. Fancy doing this tomorrow? I need to be back for 3pm.... Kitchen tile shopping :-(

  8. Yes, I was thinking we could hook up with Gav en-route somewhere and do the Macc, Cat, Broxton bit and then head for home?

  9. Well we can easily get to the cat, good little route from here up through leek

  10. Freak - you can always peel off early if you are pushed for time.... ?? I'd planned a kind of circular route - Cat/Fiddle, Macc, Congleton, Nantwich, Broxton, back down the A49 to Sandiway and then back to Store....

  11. Hi Gav, yeah I'd probably head back from somewhere on the A49/Sandiway depending on time

  12. I suggest then we (me and Freak) meet with the rest at the C&F. Do you have a 'best guess' as to what time you'll be stopping there Gav?

  13. I like the sound of this too but it'd be better for me if I could meet up at Cat and Fiddle. There's little point in going North from Stoke to Sale only to travel South again to C&F.
Also how quick is the pace on the ride likely to be Gav? I'm still running the bike in but can go up to approx 7,500 rev's (Monster 696).
    Cheers. Phil.

  14. Where are you in Stoke? I live on the outskirts so was thinking A53 out through Leek up to the C&F, maybe meet somewhere?

  15. LOL - the percursor to wedding bells if ever I saw one :D

  16. Oh the Kitchen has been ordered, just need to pay for it now... And thus my dreams of an 1199 this year vanish

  17. Hi Freak.
    I'm in Trentham.
We can meet up depending on time. I can't get out too early as I'm a bit busy early on.
I may have to leave the ride early as well depending on time!
    Cheers.

  18. PMSL!

  19. FAO Freak.
It's best that I just try and meet up with everyone at the Cat and Fiddle rather than try to meet up with you and then go up there because I don't know what time I can get going in the morning due to having a few things on (which are now getting a bit complicated) that I forgot about when I originally posted .
    Cheers. Phil.

  20. No probs mate
