Scorchio this morning, had a little trip out but too many numpties heading for the coast, combine harvesters moving between fields, made it a bloody waste, now home waiting for MotoGp and it's just rained!!
We have a kayak and went for a paddle down the Ouse near Bedford. Took Louis the dog with us too, its a 2.5 person kayak, a picnic and hopped out for swim after an hour or so. Fantastic. You cant beat swimming in real water, so much better than a pool.Last year we must have done this about 15 times but only the second trip this summer.
Ditto on all points, road's full of combines, tractors and people driving like muppets on the way, and probably on the way back now from the coast. So takeaway Chinese for me and misses watching Motogp later.
Scorchio here too, tho we did have a thunderstorm and a cloudburst about 2 hrs back, but yoiu wouldnt know it now........
It's over 30 here ... I feel sick Was going to ride to Kent but the poor 400 hates this heat .. I have all the windows open and no air My heads pounding and I feel dizzy as ! I know more and more that the cold lands are calling me.. I can't ride in this heat
It's still 28 in our sitting room and 26 outside, fortunately we have A/C in the bedroom so that'll be a cool 22-20 when we go up to bed  I was out for an hour and a half today before lunch and it was lovely, did play dodge the thunder storms though..
I had a short ride, but it was so hot it was a pain getting togged up every time I stopped. Not that I'm moaning, I'd rather have it like this than how it has been for most of the summer. My climate controlled house is 22 degrees in every room, btw:wink:
160 miles in full leathers and a heap of crawling traffic coming home, boy that was hot hot, you gotta love underseat exhausts
