  4. Travelled to Stratford Upon Avon, a few meetings today and in the morning - bought a genuine Ducati Carbon Chain Guard for a 999 black swing arm, mint condition on Ebay this afternoon - £10.50 delivered!!! There one on a buy it now at £93 :)

  12. Day two of my Management of Portfolio course, just finished this evenings work, exam tomorrow and another on Thursday.

  16. I now work on the principle that if I can take just one thing from a course, then it has been worthwhile.
     
  17. i was happy if i could just stay awake till the end. that was one of the good things with fiat, i was forever through in edinbro on all expenses paid coarse's. 2-3 days every other month.
    reached a mile stone last night. it was the first time my kids called me chrome dome. nice.

  18. I just overheard a conversation to the effect that the office I normally work in has became a Grade 2 listed building. Built in the 70's, it is a glass-walled, single story office building. I've heard it said that it is the largest of its kind in the UK, and possibly in Europe. It's really quite enormous.

    Apart from my current customer, no one else could have any possible use for such an impractical monstrosity. If the current occupant leaves it, it will never be occupied again. Grade 2? How?

    It struck me that the answer is payola. You can artificially inflate the value of properties if there is a shortage of suitable land in the area and this Grade 2 nonsense means that the local city has effectively lost the use of quite a large chunk of it.

    Someone's made money out of this. Brilliant.
