ok im thinking of having me exhaust system coated white.. all of it..(well apart from the carbon) i am unsure though about my termi slip ons as in i want all stainlees white but are they able to mask off areas or is there a way i can remove the carbon get the rest coated and put back together? im going to ring a few coating outfits but would be interested in any opinions, advice and recommendations. i know a few pani guys have had some coating done so please feel free to chip in!
White?White?Jeez youre normal.I dont know how they coat ceramic.I would guess its sprayed on.If so they probably be able to mask it off.
lol! whats wrong with white? its in keeping with the theme of my bike.. i did have system mirror polished but even after only 500 miles i dont like the way its looking, each to their own eh! im thinking just do it and if i hate it get another system.. its only the termis that will be hard to replace (he says like he's made of money)
They won't be cheapest but product been on mine for 15k and still look good A bin shot from the summer They also did the brackets and bits and pieces This is the dark grey car metallic finish not the smooth motorbike one

Yes whole pipe - done in 2012 i can't remember how much - a few hundred for sure but it does vary and this was the top of the range option - another pic (ignore the slow red ones in the background). It's really hard getting a good pic of a black bike !

(red ones are easy to ignore) thanks for pics.. id did see the car (sort of textured finish?) on there site was the more expensive option with better heat dissipation. mine would be more for cosmetics and i think the smother finish might be easier to clean? the added bonus of a cooler arse will be a plus though !
Yes you have to be careful with the car finish as to what cloth you use ! They didn't do the smooth when I had mine done - they are very helpful and have a showroom at their Abingdon factory - they may be at excel they were at Birmingham
Oh yes . Impossible to find anything off the shelf that fit that didn't have purple swirls Third season and still look like new Brian is a star
I checked out Zircotec at the NEC, the bike smooth finish is very nice. Definitely going to get mine done when I've got the cash. If you send them a pic of what you want coated they can give you an estimate. I think they said something like £20 per foot, but don't quote me on that
Dreams dashed just called zircotec had a chat with a very nice and helpful lady there and unfortunately the only white they do is the performance white (apparently as seen (or not) on the marc vds bike's headers) which is very porous, quite rough and would be impossible to keep clean... and its a bit cream in color not bright white.. Prices coated where £198.00 for the end cans, headers and link pipes £45.00 a piece the mid pipes probably £90.00 .. now i know it cant be done i want them done even more... bastard
i appreciate your point of view ... but with all due respect fuck you... i dont really mean that but i do mean to get a white system weather it is your cuppa tea or not.. to be honest i do really like the idea but i may well go off it should i be able to make it happen...
