1200 Usb Up Map Stick And Termingoni On 2013/4 Pp

  1. Can anyone tell me where to connect the UP-map usb stick to?
(sensible / accurate suggestions only...ones that will result in the maps getting loading into the ECU...not my cavities).

    Has anyone actually done this?

  2. Well following the underwhelming deluge of responses I decided to press on.
I found the usb connector block under the riders seat, near the skyhook reservoir.
Took off the dust cap and fitted the stick (supplied with termis system).
Power up and I get the message "usb upstick fitted".
About 30 seconds later it says "remove USB upstick"
So I think that is it done.
    Now for the test ride.

  3. Well done ;)

  4. If you re-fit the standard exhaust how do you down-stick it again?

  5. Just plug the stick back in and the DP map is swapped for the stock. The DP map is now back on the stick.

  6. So every time you plug it in and switch on the map is swapped between the stick and the ECU?

  7. You need to OK with the switch on the bars. The stock map is sent to the stick when the DP map is sent to the ECU. When returning to stock then vice versa

  8. I know on the 2010-2012 MTS the dash showed "MTS Racing" at start-up with the full Termi fitted and map uploaded. Should the 2013 onwards show the same, or have they stopped it? Jon.

  9. There is no up-map for the 2010-12 bikes, it's an ECU swap. I've idea what the later bikes say at power up.

  10. You put it back on and hold upside down.. I assume @NZDave being a Ozzy would have done this to load the MAP.

  11. Not going to be my problem...if you returned to a normal exhaust it will run rich and not see the exhaust valve faults open or close.

  12. Nope...Nada ......just shows normal....very useful in the event of an insurance claim.

  13. Makes sense I suppose, can't have dirty words like "racing" on a motorcycle now can we??
