most probably havent noticed, but as well as the curvy(er) new rear end, the fronts quite different too! I like the old one, 'angry bird'
I liked the fact that you could change the 1199 air scoop section for carbon inserts for a bit of detailing. Shame the new one doesnt look like it allows that.
I can't say that I like the new back end at all, it looks like a step backwards not a step forwards. The front end is neither here nor there really, just a slight bit of re-dressing. Neither were broke, neither needed fixing. Just change so it can be called the new 2015 model.
A fair question and at the risk of upsetting a few people which I seem to have done recently by expressing my opinion, I'd be prepared to forego some of the electronic wizardry for better quality chassis components. I'm not a Luddite but I'm not that demanding a rider where the intervention would make any difference but where the ride quality would. Andy
i think the new rear on the shown angle looks great, and from the rear it looks superb as you can see right through it! very stylish. The small vents on the front cool the hidden electrics on each side. Being made bigger makes you wonder if they will tak on more water? to be fair, the electronics have seen massive changes, a bit like the rsv4, personally, when my electronics fail, it will be made analogue, and back to basics
I wouldnt worry about upsetting people, we are all entitled to our opinions, and forums are for expressing them. I seldom agree with people, but thats because if I agree, we are both wrong Your post is correct, electronics are ok while they work. I dont want to be flattered or protected, I want raw feel and connection, the concept of the fly by wire throttle is bizarre! no cable! weird.......
