Hello!

  1. Longtime stalker of the Ducati forum but finally thinking of taking the plunge with a new MTS1200.

    Previous bikes have been
    DT50
    TXR125
    A bit of a break :)
    '99 R1
    '07 R1
    '10 RSV4F SE (still have)
    '06 R1 track day toy

I hired a Multi last year for a 10 day tour of Europe and really enjoyed the bike. I get a red mist with the Ape!!

So hi, and anyone have any advice about the Multi?

  2. You will get red mist too with the multi
;) have you not seen the threads

Hello and welcome to the madhouse PP

What colour red by any chance

  3. Hello and welcome to the Ducati sanitarium full of nutters.
Only advice is don't get a red one they are slower :)

  4. Welcome Dave :)

  5. I need to go slower so red it is :)

Problem with the Ape is to ride circa 60/70 I'm always in third, and then a quick overtake ends up being 90/100!

I found it easier to restrain myself on the multi.

  6. morning.

  7. I have got a quote from my local Duc dealer, but was a bit disappointed nothing was offered to be thrown in. Especially on a £18k bike after extras.

Can anyone recommend good dealers to talk too, or is this to be expected?

    Cheers guys n girls

  8. Where are you based?

  9. Bedford. But am happy to buy from further afield.

  10. With sterling being strong at the moment it might be worth you looking in Euroland.

  11. Just looked on Ducati website for store locator
    Eynsbury PE19 2TA
    Coventry CV6 2JJ
    Aylesbury HP18 0JX
    Barnet EN5 1ES

Coventry is the furthest one from Bedford about 65 miles

  12. Thanks Cupid.
I will have a ring round,, but was hoping for some feedback about the dealers to.
You know, like 'Got a great deal from XYZ. And great service' or 'Stay clear of So N So. No after sales help'.
But I guess how helpful on the phone will be a good indicator.

  13. Hello & welcome. Good luck searching.

  14. I am down in Crawley, my two local dealers are P&H Motorcycles and Pro Twins
Honda Yamaha Suzuki Kawasaki KTM Victory Ducati Motorbike dealers - P & H Motorcycles
    Pro Twins - Homepage
Both have been good to use, I have had a few bikes out of P&H and always treated really well.
I have just used Pro Twins for the first time as my normal dealer couldn't get hold of the bike I wanted and they have been really good got a few freebies :).

  16. Hello

Popped in to Moto Rapido this afternoon, seem to have a lot of stock of Multi's, maybe worth giving Andrew a call. They're a good lot down there.

  18. Flat black ?? Dont you mean flat pack, I did buy it from Ikea :)

I have had Mat white and Mat black bikes and compared to the normal coloured bikes (red) mine seem to get a lot more attention :)
