Why don't you believe me ? There is one I posted in this thread. Yes the 321 is hard to find but its out there plus before I bought mine I wished to ensure it was real so emailed the factory and asked, also asking the paint colour code and quantity made which they replied and confirmed.

Man that's the biz cheers, I recognise the 749/999 front mudguard. What I meant with the bhp is most Ducatis were unuseually measured at the rear wheel but most bikes are measured at the crank, so 122 at the rear wheel is "in the normal quoted manner" say 150 ish bhp but I'm not sure when they changed to quoting crank measument methods, perhaps somebody can help here as I simply don't know but am sure it's more than 122 ? Have you noticed that almost all Matrix have Monster rear wheels rather than the usual 5 spokes ?
The bloke with the heads would nt sell them he's going to keep instead and the 60mm exhaust the same so back at square 1 so do I tune the deep sump while she's out and spend this year collecting correct parts to put her together later in the year or rush to get it in
You have already decided, and I agree ( take your time and do it right) plus you now already have a gain in power
Thanks but I ll need some new fairing parts as deep sumps all have belly pan so more expense....think I need to make a list of what's needed.. See my bike is at a friends place and he's asked me to get it out but wanted to know if we were putting the deep sump in or not so at least everything can move forward now
As I said earlier my Fila has clam shell fairings the same and Ducati just put a hole in for the sump to poke through, not ideal but you could do that ?
Great idea but to me that's like when putting the front forks on instead of getting 15mm offset rotors just put a 5mm spacer in , both do the job but really only 1 is the right way
Can anybody tell me, or is it the usual Ducati lets rob the parts bin, why just the Matrix has almost solely a Monster rear wheel fitted (see Gold one) rather than the usual one (Grey one) ? Some Matrix did come with the Grey one but the majority have the Gold one. (obviously they all came Grey I just used my Gold one for ease in explanation)
Because of the age of the bike, they are fitted to my '04 FE. They are not just Monster wheels, as they are fitted to Multi's too.
Is the grey one above not a forged alloy one as on the 998R and the gold one a standard and S 998 wheel?
