The sticker fell off during a recent clean, leaving a big black hole in the red wheel tape. Anybody know where I can get some that will match? Thanks in advance
+1 to the above, Ebay is awash with them, where people take the cast marchesini (white) sticker off and put the (yellow) forged sticker on, for maximum weight saving , but they usually do not match exactly, so changing them all is probably the answer.
Yep my wheels are indeed forged. I had a look on ebay, but it the matching thing I'm concerned about. I will have a look at the suggested sites and give them of them a chance and some of my money
Hmmmm, The genuine ones for forged wheels were yellow, I believe????? A quick look on google images seems to confirm this!
I'm not sure Matt to be honest, at the minute I've just got the poor mans cast marchesini's on mine and they're white stickers with nothing else. It's just the pictures I've seen on google etc that have been yellow and forged wrote in italics, so I don't know their age. Just had a look at an 1198s and you could be right Matt, the forged text does look normal on them so it could be the same on the later 1098's.
Mornin', I have an 1198s registered 2011, but obviously a 2010 bike my Forged stickers are yellow with standard font on the "Forged" not italics. Same at Matt's pic but in yellow, If that helps? Maccaa
