  1. Just tried to get to London
    Bloody M4 is closed due to accident
    Was fun reversing up the slip road :)
    The bird in her fiat 500 turned around and drove up while we reversed :D
    Gave up and back home now
    Anyway had a nice little run in the min bin

  3. my grandkids have been running round the house today making a hell of a noise.

    Mainly shouting things like "Grandad, it's freezing out here, let us in "

  5. Was a good neighbour today. Next door runs a Moto Guzzi Stelvio and has finally found a local ish mechanic who knows the bike to give it a proper service only the workshop is in Didcot. Being the nice person I am, I zipped down with the trailer to pick it up for him. Got a warm glow now which actually might be the chilli squid my girlfriend made for tea :). Andy

  7. Today I managed to get to the post and hide the 4th and last of the things I have bought.Nothing for the bikes but presents for Mrs Mervyns upcoming birthday.I will get lots of brownie points I hope.:smile:

  8. Well after enjoying the run up the M4 and round the m25 Friday night, I could have done without the brucie bonus tour of the seedier parts of Reading, on last nights diversion from junction 8 to 12.

    It did seem the m way was strange last night, the services were ghostly quiet at 2000hrs.

  9. This morning I have to get ready for my grandsons joint birthday party (3 and 1 year olds).

    Can't say I'm looking forward to a bunch of screaming kids rampaging around for a couple of hours. It'll seem too much like here ;)

  20. Been repairing a water leak at the back of the toilet, what a job, threads on the plastic connector were crossed which then had to be cut down to fresh threads, all laid on my back. B***er wasted morning.
