I read somewhere you have a 1in7 chance of sharing a birthday with someone you know but same year and name! Wonder what the odds are? (Read - can someone google that please)
My nephew and my youngest daughter share my Birthday - 3 out of 6 Birthdays in a row in our small family
I was born on my grandads 50th birthday 9th feb Here's an odd one I'm 9.2.1968 My son is 20.9.1998 My cousin is the 9th march 1968
Thank you kind sir-nice e-card! This evening I shall mostly celebrate with a schooner of Lustau East India Solera, whilst making some venison meatballs( venison shot by my brother) , moving on to a modest bottle or two of Butcombes finest ale....whilst the spaghetti cooks to al dente. Main course then accompanied by a choice of an NZ Pinot noir (Two Rivers, if you ask) or a Shiraz from Franchshoek. Dessert might be accompanied by a Balvenie, I think. Maybe Dalwhinnie. Tomorrow I am tempted by a lunch in the Cotswolds , nice country pub, open fire and splendid lunch. The Rattlebone Inn, in Sherston is looking odds on favourite ! All taking place with excellent company, of course. P.s. The birthday weekend started brilliantly, with a schlep to London to cook a nice meal for my mum, friday eve, and then lunch Saturday. Then I cleaned her drains and did a few other nice birthday chores..... The return journey highlighted by a motorway closure...
Happy Birthday TT. I managed a few more miles today as roads were dryish down here. Have now clocked up 400 miles only 200 to go for first service
At 2 am this morning it was snowing here, I expected to wake up to a blanket of white but there wasnt any and sun was shining and roads were drying out. I am only round by Gatwick so not a million miles from you.
We rode (bicycle) around chew valley lake this morning riding from A friends house in Paulton. It was cold as it was windy. There were little snow flakes falling. Came back, walked the dog, lit the fire, ate, now watching TV and on this site.
