  1. Hello mate and welcome to loonyville, one consolation is at least you picked the right colour for a bike :)

  2. All my other things are black, it seemed to make sense! Your bike is rather tasty...I'm going to try a sportbike (1098? :D) sometime but I think I'll be too tall (hence the hyper).
@Exige Yes, I can imagine, that's pretty hairy weather for sailing! Still, ignorance is bliss right?

    Are you from Belgium? :)

  7. Oh and I have a complete rear sprocket flange kit to fit to. IMG_1428.JPG IMG_1429.JPG IMG_1430.JPG

  8. I hate you and I want you to go away.
Mmm CNC Racing bits. Though I have a nice excuse to add some CNC Racing / Carbon bits to mine, it might be a while. :(
No Termi on it as I think they look awful but the SC Project Hi mount is quite tasty. And about £1000 cheaper!
I'm usually pretty good with obscure quotes but you've lost me there! :D

  10. Oh and toying with the idea of treating myself to Rizoma rearset kit :) mmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmm

  11. Mods, can someone rename the thread to "Cupid Stunt's parts boasting thread"?
Seriously though, they are some well loved bikes :)
I just want a few carbon bits, the exhaust and some nice levers, that'd do me nicely!

  12. Get the ASV levers they are really well made I know they are a bit pricey but they look so cool :)
In all honesty out of all the fitted bits the only ones bought recently was the Rizom fluid pots everything else was transferred from my 899 to the 1199 :)

  13. Cool, I was looking at Pazzo's, but will check out ASV! You swapped an 899 for an 1199? I was seriously thinking about getting an 899 this year...but replacing the hyper. Think my knees would kill me though.

  14. The ASV do them in mat black with red anodised adjusters or any other colour adjuster.
I liked the 899 but it lacked mid range grunt I was a little disappointed though it is a really lovely bike.
Had the Evo before the 899 and that had a lot more punch IMHO.
So I decided after a year to trade the 899 in, still running the 1199 in done just over 400 miles if its dry this weekend will do the last 200 and get first service and slip on termis fitted plus a few bits of my bling :)
I have attached close up of ASV lever :)
The 899 has a nice easy riding position but think the hyper probably feels gruntier maybe.

  16. Shush you, we never asked for your input :) oh and wheres my cuppa tea you are slacking tonight :)

  17. Ooh they do look tasty. I was looking at red levers but I quite like those with just the adjusters in red. I've got a service coming up soon so might take an 899 out to see what I think.
And to think I nearly bought a street triple instead...pah!

  18. It's there next to you :)
    Now cuddle up
