Front & rear wheel spindle torque setting

  1. HI,COULD SOMEONE KINDLY REMIND ME OF THE ABOVE SETTINGS PLEASE? TYRE CHANGE ON FRIDAY (AGAIN) :rolleyes:

  6. Why was I thinking the rear was 170 - 180 Nm ??

  8. I looked on a link from AndyW and defo 230 .......will need to re-do mine i think
     
  9. I know why I'm getting confused .....

    "You'd better check ,me on this but the nut is torqued to 230 Nm and I think that equates to 170 FP, not 180. You may be overtightening it"

    still better go and check mine lol
     
  10. got the tyres changed today. the oberon was on its limits. started chewing the drive . any mega strong ones out there?
     
  11. Draper do an appropriately sized socket (55mm IIRC), you may also need a 3/4" to 1/2" adaptor to drive it.
     
  12. Same here for taking off but use the oberon for putting back on.
