Came across this when looking for something for the ugly thread. It certainly doesn't belong in there. Don't know whose it is but what a lovely bike. The thought and detailing that's gone into this looks first class. I love the old fashioned drop bars and grips. Click on the image and zoom in. Its really worth a close look.
That is absolutely superb. Exactly the sort of bike we all wanted to have in the early 80s. It doesn't look difficult for a modern manufacturer to make, so why don't they? (Triumph take note).
Just goes to show how different our tastes are as apart from appreciating the effort that somebody has put into it it does nothing for me.
Well there's this: But at a cost. Either of these bikes would keep me young if I had them in my garage.
I'll not be putting any modern retros on this thread, even though I really like the look of them. The Bonnie's a fine looking bike, so is the Norton, and the V7's beautiful to my eyes. But they've got something important missing. Bloody power Who in their right mind would want a 750 with less than 50 horsepower? And when was the last time a near-900cc bike struggled to top 120? Bloody pathetic, that's what it is
