Looks Nice ?

  1. I think the OE spoked wheels look so much better, just get the rims coated if you cant find a spare set from the S or afford the aftermarket wire wheels.

  2. Agree the black rims on the S model look better than the silver. I just think those 999 wheels on that Paul Smart make it look much more aggressive, completely transforms it, jmo.

Good to see he's kept the original wheels and parts. I sold my standard wheels from my S years ago, in hindsight not one of my better decisions but the money funded a lot of other parts.

  3. Very nice looking bike. I' d like one of those with An 1198 engine in it,

  4. Wow!, you actually sold rocking horse poo! Doubt you'll now find another set and probably be cheaper buying Kineo's, FaBa's or Alpina's in any case, which will give you the tubeless option.

I've kept every OE part in the garage, including the side panels which I dont really use as getting them again would be nigh on impossible.

  5. iv kineo wheels on mine and they are pure class

    tubless and spoked.

  6. my standard wheels are in attic, oiled and bagged.

  7. I nearly bought a pair of black S wheels with tyres last year for £500. Money was tight though so I passed on them.

    Regretted it ever since!

  8. I bought my GT1000 when it was 2 years old, the first owner had managed to snag a pair of alloy rim wheels to replace the corroded original chrome steel rims. I still have the alloy rim wheels & all other original parts, although the bike has been running 5-spoke Marchesini wheels for some years now.

  9. Fourteen thousand pounds??
